What the checker looks at
It reads your homepage and up to four linked pages, starting with your about and menu pages. Then it checks your photos and lists only the words that are written on your website.
- Photos: each large image is checked for sharpness, light and what it shows. Logos, menus, graphics and photos with people’s faces are left out.
- Menu items: names, prices and ingredients, kept only when the exact words appear on your pages.
- Story: sentences about how you started or where your name comes from, copied word for word.
It never invents a dish or a price. If something is missing, your website doesn’t say it in a way a reader can find.
What each ad style needs
| Style | What viewers see | What it needs from your website |
|---|---|---|
| Receipt | A receipt prints, then each item appears with its price. | Three items with prices written on your website, and a photo of one of them. |
| Guess the item | Ingredients pop up one by one, then the answer appears. | Two menu items with at least three ingredients listed on your website, and a photo of one. |
| Flipbook | A stop-motion run through your menu, a new item on every beat. | Five or more usable photos of your food or drinks. |
| Your story | How you started, or where your name comes from, on typewriter cards over your photos. | A few sentences on your website about how you started or where your name comes from. |
Every style uses your real photos. None of them uses AI-generated people or food. The ad ideas guide shows each one in more detail.
Common questions
My menu is a PDF or a photo. Can you still use it?
The checker can’t read it, but we can. Request a sample and reply to the confirmation email with your menu.
Why were some of my photos left out?
Video needs room to crop to a tall frame, so small images don’t work. Photos with people’s faces are left out unless you tell us we have permission. The photo guide explains what works best.
Do you store my results?
We keep the result for a week so a second check is instant. The checker reads only public pages and respects a website that asks not to be read by tools.
