What work does your video need?
Editing footage you already have
You provide the clips and someone turns them into an ad. Ask whether the quote includes choosing footage, writing text, captions, music, sound work and additional formats. Supplying a folder of unorganised clips can be a different job from supplying a finished shot list.
Making ads from existing photos
The production starts with still images and accurate business details. The result might use motion, illustration or other visual treatments. Frontreel works this way, using AI tools where suitable and human editing and review. It does not include a visit to your business.
Filming at your restaurant
A shoot can capture things a product photo cannot establish: a chef’s process, the room, staff interactions or an event. The quote needs to account for capture as well as editing. Ask about travel, shoot time, people on camera and which finished files you receive.
Content plus account management
Some packages also include writing captions, scheduling posts, reporting or managing campaigns. Those tasks extend beyond making a video. A larger monthly fee may include work you would otherwise do yourself.
Published prices, with the scope beside them
These are individual package examples checked on October 3, 2026, not a market average or equivalent offers. Frontreel publishes this guide and is one of the paid options listed. Confirm current prices, coverage and terms with each provider.
| Provider and package | Published monthly price | Work included |
|---|---|---|
| Frontreel | $249 USD | Four original ads from supplied photos, each in vertical and square formats, with two revision rounds per ad. No venue shoot or posting service. |
| Creative Eats Media, Starter Growth | $999, month to month | Four Instagram/Facebook posts per week, split between photos and reels; a photoshoot every two months; captions, scheduled posting and reporting. |
| Framever Media, Essential | $1,500 per month | A monthly professional shoot, one reel and one photography carousel per week, editing and basic planning. The page describes service in Southern California. |
Third-party amounts are shown as dollars on the linked provider pages. Confirm currency, any taxes, travel charges and minimum commitment in the quote. Creative Eats Media also lists lower prices for longer commitments; the row above uses its month-to-month option.
A shoot-plus-management package does not become comparable to four photo-based ads just by dividing each monthly fee by the number of videos. Decide which work you need first. We have not independently tested the other providers’ services.
What Frontreel’s $249 monthly plan includes
- Four original video ads per billing month.
- Vertical and square MP4 versions of each ad. Those are two formats of the same creative, not eight different ad ideas.
- Two rounds of changes per ad. If it still is not right, we make a new one instead.
- A private desk for your brief, reviews and final downloads.
The first paid draft is ready within five business days of receiving your brief. We plan the remaining ads during the billing month. The free-sample process has its own timing: we review the request and reply about the plan and timing.
You can cancel any time, with the plan continuing through the paid period. Paid final ads can remain in your own marketing after the subscription ends. See the full service terms for rights and responsibilities.
Frontreel fits businesses with usable photos and menu details that want recurring short ads. A real shoot is a better match when you need footage of your team, a specific process or the atmosphere of a live event.
Making an ad and paying to show it are separate costs
Production pays for the creative and the finished files. Ad spend pays a platform to distribute the ad. Campaign management covers work such as setup, targeting, monitoring and adjustments.
Frontreel’s monthly price covers production. You or your marketing partner handle posting and paid campaigns. Those services and the advertising budget are not included in the $249 plan.
A finished video does not guarantee reach, enquiries or sales. The offer, audience, destination and campaign decisions also matter. Set any campaign budget separately, with a way to check the result you care about.
Questions to ask before you accept a quote
- How many distinct ads do I receive, and in which formats?
- Who supplies the photos, footage, menu facts and script?
- Does the price include a shoot, travel or reshoots?
- How many revision rounds are included, and what counts as a new brief?
- Who checks music and image permissions, and where can I use the final files?
- Who posts the work and manages any paid campaign?
- What is the billing commitment, and what happens if I cancel?
- What happens if a price or menu item changes after the ad is finished?
Bring one real item and a few photos to the conversation. It is easier to compare a concrete brief than two packages that happen to use the word “video.” The photo checklist can help you prepare.
